Great Site With A Few Changes
The rates have been raised to $16 per night. $8 with discounts like senior pass. There are no longer free sites. All sites are pay. Past the gate on the east side is day use only although I saw campers ignoring the rules and camping there anyway! Arrogance or ignorance? Your guess is as good as mine. Restrooms were very clean and well stocked. Lake was full. I will be back.

Sun Rise Sun Set - We Saw Both
This was a great overnight spot and cheap. With the senior pass it was on $4. Even though Route 20 was close we could not hear it! There were 4 other campers. Thanks for a great stay!!

Nice quiet campground in the middle of nowhere. Only $8.00 a night. No services other than a dump for gray water. I stopped based upon reviews. Glad I did.

Great Stop; Verizon, And DARK SKY!
Simple place. Not gorgeous; but not bad. $4 with senior pass; nice pull throughs. Lots of room for maneuvering with a toad. There was a picnic table and fire ring. We had great connectivity with Verizon and loved the DARK SKY! How had no one mention that!? It was a perfect overnight stop for us as it turned out. We would definitely stop again.

Great Stop for One Or More Nights
Stopped for one night. Plenty of room, level sites, pretty lake. $4 with Golden Pass, hard to beat.

Quite And Windy
$8 to park for the night. Couple of toilets. Was quite after the wind died down. Good place to stop for the night. Literally in the middle of nowhere. Could hear coyotes. Watch out for your pets.

Nice campground
We stayed here on Sept 9, 2017. With Golden Age Passport it cost us $4 per night. Has a clean restroom. Campground isn't fancy by any means but a easy overnight stay. Fishermen like it and locals are always fishing. It WILL BE WINDY. No hookups of anykind but does have pressurized water system spigots in the campground. Update: We visited again Oct. 9, 2018. Absolutely nothing has changed since our last visit. Price is the same but it is a little colder. Great overnight spot for $4!

Nice Campground But...
It was a beautiful campground but not tent friendly. I'm touring the US on my bicycle and this was one of the cleanest campgrounds I stayed at BUT I slept on rocks. My suggestion would be to create some tent pads.

Fishing
Nice, large open sites, some on the lakeshore. Lots of fishing going on. Grey water only dump, 1 water faucet. Clean.
