Pretty decent campsites, fairly level and clean. Arcadia is close enough to edmond to run into town and grab groceries or a bite to eat. Great access to the lake, didnt have much luck with the fishing. Would stay here again no doubt.

Camp Life
City park overall a quiet place. Most of the grills need repair and not cleaned out often. Will need leveling blocks. Bring extra water hose for the outer ring sites water is shared .Had Squatters on our site when we arrived. Called camp manager in the morning. They took there sweet time leaving and had a second visit by manager. The sites are first come first served But you must look at the board up front when you pay to see what sites are in use.

Central State Park
Park staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Pull thru sites were long but you have to be careful were you finally park as there is sloop to the asphalt pad. Water faucet were different but figured out how to connect. Plus, the places they put the water pipes was not logical. Power stands were nice and functional. Did not check out the bathrooms. Several other nice parks around Arcadia Lake that you have access with vehicle pass. Lots of trees. Perfect location just a couple miles off of I-35, and very close to Edmond stores and places to eat. Only negatives were the gates aren't locked and there appear to be some long term campers, and maybe a little cleaner.

A Gem Of A Campground
This specifically is about Central State Park, which is where the RV sites are, in the Cottonwood loop. Water hookups are shared standpipes, if you're close enough and previous arrivees were considerate enough to hook up using a y-tap. Otherwise fill your fresh tank. It's worth the slight inconvenience. Our site was right next to the lake (we paid a small premium for a 'premium' site). Nice spaced from the neighbors. It can be difficult to determine which sites are already reserved. You need to look closely on the board to see whether there's already a receipt in the slot for the site you want.
