A step above Walmart parking lot. But $34. Sites close together. Someone was in our reserves spot.

Be Careful Which Site You Reserve
We reserved site 209 which was near one of the pit toilets. As we approached the site the sewer smell was so bad that we didn't even try to setup our camper. I don't know if the smell was from the pit toilet or if someone had a leak from damaged black water tank.
The campground host said that if we could find a site that didn't have a reserved tag we could stay there. But if someone came in and claimed the site we would have to move. We found one and stayed 1 night. Since we didn't want to have to move every night we decided to move on. It looked like a good campground, but you need to be careful which site you select.

Not Bad
This was our first time coming here to stay. We stayed in a site with electricity but without water. There was a gravel area to park on but the area behind the site was a bit tight. There were much nicer sites in the park but we preferred to be away from everyone. It is off season currently so there was no water on in the park and most of the restrooms were closed. The ones that were open were basically outhouses but were well stocked with toilet paper. We would stay here again when all of the facilities are open it is a nice park with a big lake and nice trails.

Nice Quiet Campground
We loved the forested campground. Lots are large. One of the shower buildings has been remodeled and is nice. However, there are only 2 shower houses with flush toilets. The rest are outhouses or chemical toilets. And they are not conveniently located. The lots for RV's with full hookup are very nice. Concrete pads. Picnic tables are on concrete pad as well in the RV section. We camp in a van without a toilet. So my husband likes to camp fairly close to the restroom. It was a long trek to the bathroom in the middle of the night. And you wouldn't want to park too close to the primitive facilities. We've liked other parks better.

Findley State Park
We live close to this park so its our main weekend quick get away. Its a clean park. Its a quite place unless its a holiday, like any park would be noisier at that time. They have recently rejuvenated a lot of areas within the park. Clean restrooms, showers, and a new camp store. This is a beautiful park with lots of walking/bike trails.
