Great Tent Camping Spots

We stayed in site 56, and it was beautiful. There are 3 tent only sites in this area, and for family camping, getting all 3 would be fantastic. Our site overlooked the lake to the west so we had a beautiful view. Yes, it’s vault toilets, but they were clean, and this was over Labor Day weekend, so full park. One caveat, there were no latches on the door of the privy, so be warned. Not so many places to get firewood, but the gas station at the corner was ok - good wood for an ok price. Showers were good except no private changing area. We would definitely stay again.

Small Spaces

If your unit is longer than 18 feet or so, you may not fit in the existing sites. You will also find it hard to park a second vehicle at your site. Only a few of the non-electric sites have easy water access. The pit toilets are uninviting, but the shower houses look nice.
