Terrific State Park Campground
Electric and water hook ups and a short walk to a clean bath house ... what more could you want from a state park?! Excellent trails / terrific staff/ very good price 75 for 3 nights in May . Safe , secure , and quiet at night
Lots of room for the dogs to explore

Great For Families With Kids
Several great playgrounds, an awesome looking pool / splash pad that was still closed for the season. Hiking trails, sidewalks for jogging. We camped for 3 nights on B loop. Web site says it's woodsy and they mean it. Sites not super level so come with levelers ready. We have kids and next time we stay here we'll opt for C loop as it's flatter, less scrubby, closer to a playground and more suited to young kids. B loop was almost completely deserted during the week when we stayed. Nice if you like privacy, or a little eerie depending on your perspective. All in all we enjoyed our experience and will be back next time we're in the area.

Stayed A Lot Longer Than Planned
Usually used by locals during the week and lots of tent campers on weekends. There are plenty of things to keep one occupied. Trails! Fishing! Historic landmarks! Water park. Watch your firewood, though. It can walk away.
