Not What Expected

Site 16 is VERY SMALL! Hardly any shade! NO WATER ON SITES! Not the way it is described on the website. Picnic table is anchored almost in the middle of the site! You have to TEXT the host to check in, had to wait! Site is fairly level, campground is quiet and clean. Beach is closed due to hurricane damage.

Great National Park

The park was really nice and well maintained. Several full hook up RV pull thrus and back in sites. Most sites had electric and water with nice graveled level spots. Although the sites are close to each other, they do have plenty of foliage privacy and grass space. Each space had a picnic table, grill, and firepit. Lots of hiking trails, a nearby park, and swimming in the Neuse River.
