Excellent park and Ron is an excellent host. Cost is $20 per night for full hookup or $420 a month for full hookup. We paid for a month.

Nice Small Campground
We were met by the camphost. We only needed water and electric so he put us in overflow, which we had all to ourselves. Later that evening the host came by and checked on us. The only complaint is even though we were in a space closest to the restrooms it was still quite the hike to use the facilities. But a little exercise never hurts.

Great Campsite
Fairly level. Very quiet. Nice and dark at night. Site had water, 20/30/50A service, and a picnic table. Cash or check only. Pay at the nature center, which closes fairly early. Only annoyance was that the site was quite sandy.

One Year Later.
We came back this spring and there have been some changes. The staff is still friendly and now there is a campground host who is also super helpful. Still cash or check only for payment. There were no spaces when we arrived, but there is now an overflow area with partial hookups. There is a dump station. The park is more popular, probably due to the development of the downtown area within walking distance. Many of the campers in overflow had dinner reservations for one of the popular restaurants downtown. We were able to move into a regular full-hookup site on our 3rd night. The price is still $15 a night. I can see this park expanding or changing their policies if it continues to grow in popularity.

No Reservation Required
We called ahead for a spot but were told that its first come first serve. No reservations are accepted, pull in to any free spot, set-up, and then pay at office by the planetarium that is at the opposite end of the campground. Cash only, no more than 30 day stay allowed. It was only $15 a night at the date of this review. Some of the spots back up to the river. Dirt/gravel spots. Our GPS took us to the downtown side of the planetarium so make sure to find the nature center entrance. We would stay again, very nice and convenient, there were plenty of spots free when we arrived.
