Big Rig Campground
We stayed 2 weeks at Indian springs campground in space 18. My Coach is 43ft long I pull a 24ft enclosed car trailer. Our site was level with grass. The owners are outstanding, friendly and very helpful. I had a plugged air cleaner and they loaned me an air compressor to blow it out. Even though it is down a long hill and steep entrance. I had no issues going down or up the hill. Would definitely stay again. Priced reasonable.

Very quiet and secluded place. Little difficult to get to with 45 ft motorhome pulling trailer or car. Steep gravel road, about half a mile drive. You need a person to walk ahead of you to assure that nobody is coming from other direction. One lane and blind curves.

Owner was AWESOME. She even helped me book my next stop. She knew the area, made some calls and put me close to the friends I was visiting.

Nice Surprise
The road down to the campground is steep, uneven, curved and a bit nerve racking but the campground at the bottom is lovely. No bathhouses so you must be self contained. Very nice, big spots, VERY quiet.

Quiet and Relaxing
Close enough to Hickory but feels like you are camping in a mountain valley. No noise. Nice RVs. Nice swing to relax on hot summer day.

The drive to get here is a little “scary” but a pleasant surprise when you get to the campground. Small park (~26 sites) but very rooming sites. Very quiet.

Very nice campground. Although close to I-40, there was absolutely no highway noise. Genia and Rocky, the owners are very nice and caring. They do appear to have a fair number what seem to be long term residents but there are no obviously trashy looking RV's so it is hard to tell long termers from short termers. All sites are large and easy to get into and out of. If you want TV though, bring your own satellite dish or at least a satellite box and cable because all they have is hookups to dishes for either Direct TV or Dish. There are very few stations you can receive from the air. Just enjoy the quiet and the river.

Be sure you call ahead and get a gate code and there is no entry through Cedar Springs you must use Whitener Drive.

Peace And Quiet
The perfect place for a relaxing retreat on the Henry River. Large sites, 50 amp service and some pull thrus. Our 45 ft toy hauler backed in a spot on the river nicely, with room to drop the back patio. Not for party types, but simply perfect for relaxing!
