We didn't feel safe here.

There was a person at the exit of the business, who claimed to be the owner of the property, who verbally abused us as we drove out after our overnight stay. There was no obvious reason. When I exited my vehicle to explain him, and that this was unacceptable, he threatened me that he would get his asphalt workers physically assault us. He continued to verbally abuse me. I chose to not escalate the situation further and left the property. The bathrooms and shower facilities, that he used were dirty and outdated.

We stayed here for a week in July. Sewer hook up is located at the very rear of site & if we hadn’t just happened to have an extra sewer line we really would have been “sh..” out of luck. Had to pay for WiFi which didn’t work unless you stood outside under the node. Positive side: large flat site. As for others complaining about road, you are in the Catskill MOUNTAINS! Yes, the road is hilly fool! Would rate 2 1/2 stars if possible No way should the term “resort “ apply to this campground.

To start with. The enterance was steep up hill on a narrow 2 lane road. Not conductive for large trailers. The spot we were assigned had no 50 amp or cable. Wifi had a charge. Reservations had to be fully paid for in advance. To be fair, the pull thru sites were huge and nice. I do not think, if we are back in the Wurtzboro area we would stay again.
