Don’t Believe The Website Or Good Sam
Stayed here for 5 nights. Nice campground. Good Sam gave this place 3 10’s. Maybe 10 yrs ago but I definitely wouldn’t rate it that high.
On the positive …. Great Cable TV and WiFi. Nice setting.
On the negative …. Sites are close together. Bring a rug because the gravel is only wide enough for your rig. You’ll step out onto “grass” or dirt most likely. The gravel needs re-done and sites re-leveled. Overall, landscape maintenance was poor. There was very little grassy area and that hadn’t been mowed in a while. There’s junk piles throughout the park (construction debris, machinery etc.) Friday night it turned into party central, noisy neighbors, unleashed animals. This was an extremely unpleasant experience.

Beware Same Owner As King Phillips
I highly recommend NOT camping here as it’s the same inconsiderate owners of King Phillips. They have no regard for you nor your property.

Happy Camper
OMG.... lot of new upgrades being done but what a BEAUTIFUL well kept and CLEAN campground... the toilet/bathhouse is nicer than some hotels we have stayed at.... we had site on the river’s edge, great stay..... 6 stars plus

Very clean place, friendly staff.... The only negative comment I have is that they advertise cable, however we did not have cable at our site...We had 3 campsites and 2 out of the 3 did not have cable and the 3rd site was spotty and fuzzy cable at best. When we complained to management they didn't do anything about it and seemed not interested in our complaint.

Wonderful Improvements & Stay!
I was skeptical about booking here after reading poor reviews so what a surprise it was to arrive & find a diamond in the rough. No trash anywhere, 2 nice bathhouses pristine w locks on doors etc.Lovely river setting with crushed rock roads & sites. Very quiet but convenient to gas/groceries & activities! New FHU, fire rings, tables, cable, WiFi, big rig friendly, horseshoe pit, pavilion, playground, pool, pet friendly...ck them out now while it’s 2 nights get 3rd free! I used my Passport America for $24./night 50amp FHU which was a great deal!

Excellent campground close to Lake George. Small, private and quiet. Beautiful, clean sites that back up to banks of the Schroon River.
