We just had our second stay here and have no complaints. The owners are friendly and helpful. We were greeted each time with "camp bread", which is yummy. We had a site with a deck this time and got to watch the sun rise over the lake. Each time we stayed was during the "winter" months (March, April) so it wasn't busy but we haven't ever been the only ones. We are grateful there is a year round place to stay. It's close to wineries and state parks.

Awful

Horrible place with unreliable electric. Our site was in the middle of an open field. Temps were in the 90’s. Owner (Lynn) knowingly allows you to check in and pay in full without advising of the power issue. When we called to tell him our power wouldn’t stay on, his response was: “we are at the end of the power line, and on hot days, you won’t get power. It will come back later as it cools down”. Every site on our row lost power. Some RV’s were unattended at the time. When we called the next morning to say we were leaving, Lynn said “you understand this isn’t my fault. The power company has been out to try to fix this issue. I will only refund you half because it isn’t my fault”. While it isn’t Lynn’s fault that the power company can’t fix it, it is Lynn’s fault that he is dishonest. He doesn’t disclose the problem and takes your money for a service he cannot provide. You risk damage to your electrical system if you stay here.

This campground was ok. The bathrooms were kind of gross and a long ways away from full hook up sites. The pool was nice but because the weather was so hot it needed way more chemicals than was in it. People were nice.

We love the friendly owners and clean, peaceful surrounding. We have been there twice and will go back soon!
