Great Place To Camp

The owners and caretakers clearly take great pride in making this campground a beautiful place. The campsites are spacious, shaded, and (mostly) level. The cabins and other permanent accommodations are cute and well-kept. No over-the-air television stations, but decent cellular-based WiFi. Would recommend to a friend.

Beaver Valley

We stayed here for two days while we visited Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. Lots to love about this place: -The location was great: less than 5 miles from town. - Owners and staff were uniformly kind, friendly, and helpful in every interaction. -The grounds are lovely and well-kept, with spacious shaded campsites. -Several improvements are in progress: reconstructing a pool, and building batting cages near a beautiful ball field. I did take off one star, because: - Wifi was iffy at best. Great near the office, but nearly nonexistent near our campsite. -Our site was quite out of level; it took every block we had to get level. -There was, so far as we could tell, only one trash location for the camp. While it looked as though recyclables were separated, there was no rhyme or reason to the sorting, & no clear way to tell what was supposed to go where. We guessed. Signage & clearly marked receptacles would be very helpful. All in all, I'd gladly stay here again.
