NOT US FOREST CAMPGROUND
This is a New York state campground. I arrived after hours for a walk up. Because I did not make a reservation on that horrible reserve America they only offered me three crappy walk up sites. We agreed I could pay in the morning then they changed their price and did not offer me a senior discount. Also like all New York state parks documentation is required for your dog although every year we allow millions of undocumented to cross our southern border just makes no sense to me. The park is very nice and clean and if you have a reservation fine but because it’s so remote if you’re just looking for a campsite for the night I would definitely pass on this one.

Beautiful Campground
We stayed at Loop A 006. There was a good distance between our site and our neighboring sites 005 and 009. This is the perfect campground for swimming, kayaking, hiking and any outdoor activities. The showers were clean. Make sure you have everything you need as the nearest town is quite a drive away.

The Campground Is beautiful But
We arrived just before a down pour. The site we had did not have go drainage and the whole loop seem to have massive puddles.
The lake was amazing. It has an amber color to it.
We used a rowboat that had a hole. We switched to another boat and the staff gave us two different size oars. Didn't realize it until we got half way out.
This place is in the middle of nowhere. If you have to go to a store, you're looking at 45 minutes of roundtrip driving. Get everything before coming here
