Not what we were looking for
We were one of 2 “transient” sites in the middle of a seasonal neighborhood and we did not feel very welcome. The sewer was sloped and elevated so I had to rig up a setup on milk crates. They do not enforce noise so we had early 2000’s rock blasting till about 5am. I’m glad that these people have a place to go but it’s not camping and it’s not for us. Also no cable, no WiFi and no cell service.

We’ve stayed here twice in 2019. The pool is very nice! Nice store and restaurant, staff is very friendly. I would give 5 stars if the owners would evict the dilapidated rundown permanent trailers that litter this place. Kinda like camping next to the slums on both sides.

Memorial Day Weekend 2019
We booked about 2 weeks out so we’re happy to find somewhere to camp. Staff was nice, pool was nice and big seemed fairly new. There were a lot of activities through the weekend and overall nice relaxing stay. We were disappointed with our site (217) as it was on a slope and unable to back into the site as intended for the sewer hookup, so had to go sideways which left the sewer uphill and unable to use. It’s hard to complain booking last minute on a holiday weekend but hope they can level some of the sites including this one in the future. There were a lot of seasonals some nice and some not so nice. Overall would go back, close to Cowtown Rodeo so would be nice to incorporate that into a stay.

Off The Beaten Path
Hidden away in the gently rolling hills, campground was a little dated. Site could be a little wet (recent heavy storm). Staff was accommodating over the phone, helped with getting side by side sites. Went there for a birthday get away with friends. Was a great call. Would visit again. Good price and got what was promised.

Creepy
Horrible. Our site was way overgrown and had trash on the site. The cable line was cut. The 30amp breaker kept blowing, so I had to use the 50amp adapter(luckily I had one). Many trailers looked like something from a Stephen King movie. Looked like they’d been there from the 70’s. Very run down. Many residents, not seasonals. This is a trailer park, not an RV resort.

Drove In And Drove Out
Not what was advertised on website. If the pictures were accurate we would have stayed. Once we drove in, I immediately knew I was not comfortable staying here, especially with young kids. Run down trailers all over, unkempt grounds around long term residents' lots... not a warm, safe feeling I look for in campgrounds.

We haven't stayed here yet but will be here mid Sept. I will say they couldn't have been nicer on the phone. Looking forward to staying here.
