When Choices Are Limited!
We were here over Memorial Day & park was full. We were glad they had space for us. Very woodsy with wide sites Easy to get in & out of- especially if no one is directly across from you. Roads are pretty bumpy & uneven. A little pricy considering there is really no wifi & barely a ph signal- at least with ATT.
Now my complaint. We were here visiting friends who live near here. I learned that if anyone come to see you they charge $6.00 per person per visit. Considering they were only coming in to pick us up & show us the area I felt this was excessive! So it cost us an additional $24.00 just t bisit our friends. I could understand if they were spending the night- using their facilities & water etc but I told the grumpy guy in the office they were just picking us up- he didnt care
There were many family/ friend groups that had 4 or more camping here. They paid the same camping fee the 2 of us did. Maybe its petty but do be aware of this policy. We will never camp here again

Big property, quiet, private spots. Easily able to get our travel trailer in. Had to do more leveling because we didn’t want to be in the dirt portion of our site. Some sites have more grass than others. They were willing to let us move if we wanted. Turned out to be fine. Nice indoor pool. Allowed my kids to be able to play despite it being cooler in the afternoon or raining. Bathrooms were clean. Didn’t have to pay for the shower. Bathrooms were older for women versus men’s but still clean. Staff was nice and answered all our questions.

A Bit Dated But Nice
Although dated, we liked this place. Nice layout and the sites are spread out.
