It Was Ok For One Night

Apparently you can’t reserve a certain spot. The host prefers to put you into a spot when you arrive. Thats not unusual-except ALL five spaces are exactly the same. We arrived and when we didn’t see any names on the spots (as if they were reserved) we went ahead and parked in one. As my husband was setting up-I walked to the store to check in. The host was a bit miffed that we didn’t check in first because she had put us at another site and now she had to change us in the computer. All. Sites. Are. Exactly. The. Same. Also, don’t get gas at the station in Baker if you can make it to Austin. Gas was $1.40 a gallon MORE expensive in Baker than in Austin.

Small facility with 5 spots at back of fueling station. No one on site to host, need to walk a block over to the stargazer hotel to sign in. Full hookup, but no WiFi and no facilities. Ok for a spot to stop for the night if it is too hot to boondock and you need hookups.
