Nice Convenient Campground
Surrounded by trees, just behind the rest area. Nice little hiking trail that goes right by the river. Lots of spots available. Most are first come first served but some can be reserved. Most sites are paved - some not so level. Host provided firewood. Cell coverage at this campground. Tunnel under freeway gives access to both sides.

Great Overnight Stop
I passed up Missoula and overnighting at a Wal-Mart for free to go West a bit further to stay at this National Forest Campground for 10 dollars. I would have spent so much more at Wal-mart for suff I don't need then that!
The entrance to the campground on the westbound side of I90 is at the end of the rest area. Turn right and go 1/4 mile and you'll see the entrsnce to loop A and B. Loop G is on the westbound side. To get to either side there is a one lane tunnel.
If you are in an RV and want a pull-thru goto Loop A. Loop G looked like group tent camping. So single tenters may want to opt for Loop A or B.
This campground is ideal for overnight or a couple of days. Yes, it is on the interstate and there is some traffic and railroad sound, but nothing to keep me up at night.
