What a delightful campsite up in the mountains. The road to get there is a 7 mile paved road, according to Montana standards it is a”rough road“. It’s not nearly as bad as some of the other “rough road“ byways that we experience in north eastern Montana. At the end of the 7 mile paved road you have about one mile of good gravel road and then you come to the campsite which has at least 12 sites, a place for horse corrals also. The vault toilets were very clean and look brand-new. Campsites were all well-maintained and we enjoyed our stay very much. Those with a Golden Eagle Passport pay half price.
