KOA
Good, level, graveled site. Full hookup pull-thru that has a decent amount of space between sites. Bathrooms and showers very clean. Friendly staff. We were here in mid-October so not many traveling campers, but a few long-term campers.

Nice Overnight Stop
This is a KOA campground now.
Gravel level site #31, 50/30 amp, water, sewer, WiFi (did not use), no cable, quiet, picnic table on slab, Laundry room, two shower houses (did not use), a few trees but not a lot of shade although we didn’t need shade on this trip. Easy access near Helena. $65. (No contact check-in after hours)

OK place. The best place in Helena. For the price, we got a back-in spot between seasonals on gravel. Don’t know what they charge for the pull throughs, but they are a lot nicer. They also have an area behind the office with just electric on gravel which they were charging $42 for. Big difference in price! Otherwise this is a clean place. Did not use any of the facilities.

No Picnic Table
Paid $52 for a parking lot site with no grass or picnic table! We did get a shower and laundry was available. Would have been nice to have seen what we were paying for before we said OK. It is now a KOA.

It Will Suffice!
We always read the reviews and do our best to read the good and bad. The good: sites are adequately spaced out, best WiFi we’ve had, location is lovely, and there’s a few trees and grass areas. The bad: what’s with the “rules!”? Seriously, written for 6th graders, not your adult customers. Stop bolding and underlining every other sentence. Oh, and stop using !!!!! at the end of every sentence. Also, told by staff to not step on the grass... again, I get that you are trying to improve the place, but telling your paying customers to not step on the 3’ of grass that is outside the door of every RV is ridiculous. Offer a discount while you “improve” the place, if that is what you are doing. Staff is welcoming, but list of rules and signs are not. As a business owner, you need to treat your clientele as adults...just my humble opinion. Again, your basic campground for $50+ per night...soon to be a KOA approved, but already charging the premium price.

Travelers
Second time we stated here. Very nice large spaces. Good WiFi. Nice laundry. Gracious host. Beautiful grassy spots. Nice trees. Recommend this place. 8 miles from downtown Helena put only 10 minutes by freeway about 1/2 mile down the rd. Great little grocery store rt down the rd. Great place.

Great. Clean level sites. Quiet overlooking western hills. Good Sam discount applied. Didn't see any snarky signage. Would definately come back again.

Who Likes Rude Signs
Am I the only one out there who dislikes a rude sign? Thinks hastily written notices haphazardly taped on doors walls and buliten boards is bad business? I guess I'm clinging onto the old fashioned idea of hospitality to a guest. A paying guest. OK the place is nice enough for an over night stay. They were open and plowed in the winter. Clean fasilitys. I am curious though if the plastering of signs written like there ment for a juvenile rehabilitation center rather that an RV park is really necessary. I wonder are there more people like me who next time might try a new place down the road? Hoping its a nice place without having to read disrespectful sloppy postings.

Excellent park. Quiet, clean, level sites with grass between sites. A bit close, but not an issue for our overnight stay. Clean laundry room. No fire pits, which was pleasing to our air quality. Shopping just a short drive away. Would definitely stay here again.
