Wonderful Stay
Nestled in a very rustic atmosphere about 1 mile off the main road, you'll enjoy wonderful wildlife views w/plenty of options to fish from the riverbanks or right off the boat launch. If you're a dry camping adventurous person, you'll have options to set up camp overlooking the Bighorn River. And, don't worry about having a short list of conversations as you'll be greeted by groups of fisherman, families enjoying kayaking or the nice couples who choose to canoe by.
We stayed here for a weekend in late August & had a wonderful time. While there's no elec/water you do have a nearby vault toilet; which was very clean. There are no fire rings so there's no option for a campfire but the beautiful scenery makes up for that + it's free. You could see a very limited amount of debris, left from prior gatherings, but all in all the area was pretty tidy. Definitely nothing we couldn't clear away in a few minutes. We felt safe & really enjoyed the peaceful beauty of nature surrounding us.

20 miles from the highway and one mile on a gravel road. Probably great for fishing but not for RVs.
