Leveling Nightmare
Was assigned spot 12. Sites all looked uneven driving by. Pulled in with 43’ fifth wheel and tried a few times to level with no success. Drove off and readjusted. Tried a few more time to level with no success. Site was not level left to right or front to back. Talked to staff and got a refund then ended up going to Meramec State Park for half the price and a lot better scenery. The KOA has a great staff but the sites suck.

Pulled in with no reservations, they got us a spot on a busy weekend. Maybe a bit expensive, but KOA s are. Owners check you in and i think hard working true americans dealing with alot of personalities. I would stop again. 40 foot with 4 wheels down. 45.00

Rude Rude Rude
Asked for a Month Long Stay, the Lady questioned me like I was an Outlaw and Asked “Why would I want to Stay a Month”. All good little lady, I hope others read this review and avoid your campground like avoiding COVID-19. Cheers!!

Very close to freeway and easy to get in and out. Had a pull through that handled our 70’ long train (45’ coach, motorcycle lift on back and towing a Jeep Grand Cherokee). Full hookup with 50 amp power. Owner/manager also makes and delivers pizza to sight. Pretty cool. Would use again as an overnight stop over.

For a quick one night stay, this was ok. Sites are not level, and few and small dated showers. The wi fi wasn’t strong enough to use.

Two Night Stay
Good layover spot. Camp hosts are top shelf. Easy access from the Hwy. Large pull through sites. Slight discount with KOA membership. Big plus is, they will deliver dinner to your rig, as there’s no restaurants or stores within walking distance. Other than the KOA camp store that sells snacks, beer, wine & necessities. Great harbor from bad weather this time of year. We would stay again.

Hard to Level Big Motor homes.
Nice campground with very welcoming owners. They have a number of long pull through sites but they all slope down to the rear of the site. I have a 42 foot motor home and had to try 5 times with 2 different sites to level. I was successful in site 11 and I don’t think a really big motor home like mine can level in any of the other sites. Everything else about the campground was great though. A quiet pleasant stay.

Our camping club has stayed here several times. God people and you can buy your supper here in the office. Some our members say it is really good. Level spots, important for our Class B.

Very Hospitable KOA!
We encountered problems with our RV and fortunately when we got off the highway, there was Stanton KOA which wasn't our original destination. Dan and Barb were so hospitable. They helped us get a mechanic for our RV. They checked on us to see how we were doing. Their park is quiet and lovely. They had full amenities. I don't think we've experienced KOA owners that have gone out of their way so much to be that helpful and friendly. We would recommend this KOA!

Nice Stop
Easy access from I-44 E. Clean and pleasant. Everything one would need in one place. This may become our standard stop on this route. Appeared that the 50 amp full hookups are all in the sun, tho.

Small
Small area. Nice pool and playground. The bath area was not too bad.. The toilet was clogged and kept running the whole time . And there is a train track that runs Along side . If you are a light sleeper I would not stay here. But I'm not so it didn't bother me .. Went by three times when we were there one night. Not bad for one night stay.
