Nice shaded sites, but mostly gravel, bring every wood/leveling block you have and get ready to back uphill into most sites. Electricity ONLY, fill your tank on the way in. Pretty narrow roads thru campground with 6” edge drop off for your front wheels when trying to maneuver into the sites. Popular place on weekends, full campground!

Beautiful park. Very helpful staff allowing me to wait till 7pm to use the handicap site for 13.00. Didn't have a reservation so I waited 2 hours and it worked out for me. I was self contained. All good. Would stay again. Great 4 mile paved bike path around the lake.

Nice weekend
great park...Staff is helpful and friendly. Campsites are mostly gravel....some paved sites...not many. Better bring blocks of sometype....quiet. Kid friendly....pet friendly....wood available. Showers, laundry. Will be back.

Very Few Level Sites
It's a rough ride getting here and good to see all the shaded sites. But very few are level and I didn't see any sites with water at the site, rather water hydrants scattered around the campground. So we lugged water about 100 ft to our camper. There's a nice lake nearby but you can't see it from any of the sites. Not worth the ride over here.

Early Season Trip
We went on maiden camping trip for weekend Mar 2018. Site 25, 30/50amp hookup, no water or sewer, great concrete pad, picnic table and fire pit area. Spacious sites. Went to the tour of the house and mill Saturday it was very interesting. Good size lake offers fishing, boat launch and swimming in warmer season.

Great Park!
Great park just far enough away from KC to escape the hussle and bussle but close enough to pop into town for the day or afternoon. Wish the park left a few showers open for those that like to camp in the off season.
