We had a good experience here...there are a number of long term residents, but park was clean and well kept. Hiking for dog across the road, but she was smelly after getting in the lake. Water connection iffy unless you have 50' of hose, so fill up before unhook if need be. Close to city, state building had good Missouri history museum.

Not Happy !!!!!
Looked at place in advance. Nice, place. Talked to host. Was very nice at the time of reservations 2 months in advance and paid in full. Received confirmation email. Great! Pulled in the evening of reservations. Moved us from our reservation spot. Was told emergency and was very rude. Ok I understand things happen. 50 ft of water hose was crap on the site we were given lucky we had 100 ft.
Happen to become associated with the fellow campers that were on our site we reserved. Hummm, they got a email also confirming there site.
I reserved 1st.... they double booked. Really!!!
When asked about it to the host. The response was I was calling him a lier. Wow!!
City does a great job maintaining this camping area.
The camp host is another story..
Don't know if I will go back. Not sure where I would end up!!!!

Beautiful grounds and park. Easy back in sites with cement pads. Found it as we were passing through, and will definitely stay again!!

Nice little park close to the Capitol. Full hookups at a great price. Bring pressure reducer, very high water pressure here. Also need long water hose as sites share water connections.
