I have stayed in numerous RV parks but this one felt very unsafe. The owner was also very rude. He said “I know how much you travel nurses make. You shouldn’t complain.”

Totally Worth It!

Decided to stop here for the military discount even though it meant I’d have to drive an extra hour the following day—totally worth it! A warm smile and fresh baked cookies greeted me! The staff worker was very professional and an army vet. After check-in and given a detailed map/brochure, the staff worker led me to the almost perfectly leveled site tucked amongst very tall trees. This place was a bit off the beaten path but totally worth it—no light pollution with only the sounds of crickets and an owl heard. Would have stayed another day but I was on a tight schedule. Definitely recommend this to those looking for a peaceful night and someone who supports our troops!

Second Visit

This is a great place to on IH 44 in the Joplin, Carthage area of SW Missouri. They give their best discounts to Veterans. Sites are gravel and have a scattering of trees. Temporary sites are mostly pull thrus. The give their best discounts to Veterans and greet everyone with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.

Has changed from two years ago .. full of construction workers and monthly customers. People in property next to park had LOUD motor sport vehicle that ran for an hour every evening. The host were very nice but things will have to change.

Not Friendly To Older Motorhomes

Stay 2 days at this park in a 20 year old motorhome. My motorhome is not run down but very good condition. I was placed at an area that did not have any rock. The other motor homes were newer and had White Rock. This park seems to want to cater only two newer motorhomes. Will give a call out to the showers they were clean and the water was hot.

Great place only lacking a dog park. I would recommend it to anyone.

Favorite Place

Lovely quiet place, staff was very friendly and helpful. The entire campground was well kept had that warm welcoming feel. We had a nice roomy pull through spot and will definitely return and stay longer.

Clean And Quiet

We've stayed here in the past and are happy to see it's still as nice as before. Neat clean and quiet. Nice to find a park away from the freeway noise. All the sites appear to be pull-thrus and plenty of length as well as lots of space between sites. We look forward CV to staying here again in the future.

Road signs to the park made it easy to find. Good veterans discount. Sites had good spacing. Clean and friendly. Will stay again.

Great Find!

Working our way from the north to the south and needed to stop around this area. We were delighted to find this little gem. Several years ago they had some flooding and as a result they have rebuilt almost everything in the park. All facilities top-notch clean and fresh. Owners extremely accommodating and friendly. It's one of those RV parks that just simply feels good. Absolutely recommended by us.

We Love This Campground!

We really enjoyed our stay here!! The bath houses are clean and they offer laundry facilities. There's space to walk dogs and the entire park is organized well! Spots are level and hookups are placed nicely. There's a concrete walkway along the side.ofnthe door camper. Although the spaces are gravel they are nice and packed. Easy in and easy out. Were impressed. Offer 30% military discount!!

Very Nice

Missy was friendly and guided us to our spot which was clean, level and shaded. Not too far from the interstate, but quiet. No problems with the electric, water, sewer or cable hookups. We extended our stay an extra day. 30% military discount was great! There are a couple RV dealerships a few miles away on I-49 should you need anything. Will stay there again.

Big Red Barn

Great place. Only down side and it still doesn't deter from the outstanding park is the wifi. It is at times iffy at best. Front office personnel is outstanding. They are the nicest people we have seen so far.

This place is really nice with lots of trees, grass and flower gardens. All the spaces are exceptionally level pull thru gravel with concrete walkway. Every site has picnic table and full hookups. The shower house is clean, heated, and well furnished. The laundry room is clean and inviting. The propane refill station is convenient and reasonably priced. The play area is grassy, natural and fun to explore but has limited equipment. If you visit them during a holiday they usually have a dinner at their meeting room. There are no fire ring/grill so you need to bring yours. I have stayed here several times and highly recommend.

Good People And Great Park!

We enjoyed the beauty of this park so much! Beautifully cared for and all sites were very level and they were all pull thru's. We were also given a very generous 30% retired military discount!! We definitely will be back!
