Convenient Overnight Near Memphis

All amenities and paved sites with America the Beautiful pass only $12/night. Site 21 has nice water view. Saw eagle in tree this morning. Rainy and muddy day we were here and made the mistake of taking site 19 which once you back in doesn’t have you look at water. Marshy fishing type area.

Hernando Point not Hernandez

Quiet little campground. Get a spot with a lake view(although it's presently drained but the river is running through). Most sites have shade. Not as scenic as Wallace Creek. Showers and bathrooms very clean. No traffic nearby at all. Easy access. We had site 43. Poor view but good shade. Level but very narrow.
