Lake Gogebic
Beautiful park with spacious sites! Beautiful view of the lake! Many sites are right on the water.

Too Close For Comfort
Unfortunately upon arrival, lot 127 was right at the fork of the entrance without any barrier, we decided to not stay with small children and dogs. The view of the lake looked amazing, but the lots were too close and the location of the site was not ideal without any fencing or foliage.

Enjoyable
A nice state park. I will say be careful picking sites as some of the lake side spots are very hilly which can make leveling your camper more difficult and it can be hard to tell from the pictures on the website. The view of the lake was beautiful and the bathrooms were okay. There is a swim beach but it's nothing fancy. It's a great place to bring your boat as they have a nice boat launch.

Did not have any problems with mosquitoes, but we were there in October. Beautiful with the Fall colors. There were only 2 other campers when we arrived. Took a day trip to Porcupine Mtn., when we returned a 40 foot motor home parked right (and I mean "right") next to us, on our lot! It was so strange and inconsiderate. Why didnt DNR have them move? Especially when 98% of the park was vacant. My husband held me back from saying some words... as we were leaving in the morning. The campground was clean and well kept.

Nice Park, agree thete are lots of mosquitos. Great and beautiful Lake! Good boat ramp but no place to leave your boat in the water over night. Caught some nice walleye. Nice beach for swimming. Clean facilities.

Nice park, nice campsites, but mosquitos are out of control here. They are so much worse here than most other places in the area around the lake.
