Still Free!
Road in was well graded, but is narrow. If you meet another RV going the other way, it could be sporty passing. We chose site 4, since it has the best solar capability and we use solar to charge our batteries. Depending on your needs there is a site that will fit you. We have a 35' TT and had no trouble getting in. There was a lot of trash in the fire pit, and a fallen tree that had been used as a toilet. Note to some of you...aluminum and glass DO. NOT. BURN. STOP THROWING YOUR BEER CANS AND BOTTLES IN THE FIRE RING. If you aren't able to pack your garbage out don't go camping. Also, if you're a tenter and can't bring a shovel from home to bury your crap (literally), stay home. Shame on you. Nobody wants your toilet paper right next to their campsite. Show some respect and appreciation for what is being provided for all of us.

Nice
We enjoyed our free stay here. Only drawback is there are washboards on the dirt road to get there.

Very nice, quiet night. Can hear the rapids, but the steps have fallen into disrepair.

Peace and Quiet
This is a nice, six site National Forest campground 3.3 miles down an unpaved road. This is our second stay and five of the six sites were occupied by days end; it was quiet during the day, but especially at night. There is no water, so camping is free with a 14 day stay limit. Stairs and a path lead to Sparrow Rapids and the east branch of the Ontanogan river. Nice site separation such that you can’t see your neighbors. Definitely worth at least an overnight. Good Verizon 3 bars LTE.

Nice Little Campground
The sites are private, you can't see your neighbors, and the campground is well maintained.
