Quiet and Safe
This was a terrific surprise. Not only is this fairgrounds quiet and we felt very safe, it is gorgeous. We stayed four nights. You are camping on grass so the sites can be slightly wonky, but we had no trouble leveling. We had full hookups/50amp. $35.00/night. Staff was friendly and offered to give us a tour of the grounds. Many historic buildings and a fair museum. Loved it and will stay again. The bathrooms are a bit rough, but we didn’t need them so didn’t use them. The flea market/small animal auction was at the other end of the grounds. We also stopped by the local farmer’s market Saturday morning in town.

Fairgrounds-Hillsdale, Michigan
We stayed here in 2015 for three weeks in October after the fair. They have full service sites and sites with just water and electrical. For an extended stay they reduce the fee. We will stay again this year 2017 for about a month and I will do another review. The down side is the sites are not pads or gravel. We have just set up on the grass. The fairgrounds are very well kept and in 2015 they left the water on until we left because the weather was great. We like Hillsdale.

Great place to stay
I've stayed here 2 different times with our camping club. Cost was $10 per night. I enjoy the weekly Saturday auction. No fire pits. Sites include water and Electric and some with waste hook up. There is also a dump station.
