Called Back The Next Day

We called this campground about staying last night. The next day at nearly noon they called us back. So much for generating business. Just as good, we found a state campground called Van Ripper for $25 included 30amp power. We filled the tanks with water. Very bad mosquito issues but the staff was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. Go there if you want a walk up site for a reasonable price. Next to a pretty lake as well. Spacious sites.

New ownership has transformed Michigamme Shores into one of my favorite campgrounds. They are upgrading everything little by little.

Stay Review

Dirty un-kept bathrooms. For the day we checked in and until the next day departure no toilet paper or attention to shower/bath facilities. Sinks , soap and towels were not provided. Decided to leave early.
