Quiet, Peaceful, Give It A Try
I stayed Sunday to Thursday at b38. The sight was spacious with good shade but plenty of sun too. It was very quiet at night but bustling with kids on bikes during the day.
My sight had water and electricity. There isn't any wifi but the cell service was great.
The bath houses are clean and appear to be tender to regularly. The park service makes several passes each day and always waved hello. My walk to the beach front was a bit of a hike but there is parking if to want to drive. The beach had its own bathhouse. A small rooed off area for swimming and do enough to swim. Flotation devices are allowed.
Will definitely return.

Recently Redone And Nice
This park is dog friendly with no breed restrictions. The staff we met were excellent and friendly. The sites were level and spread out nicely. Some sites are paved! Each are equiped with a fire pit and grill. The RV sites had new hookup tower with 20,30,50 amp service and water (No sewer). Plenty of trees for good shade. Bring your bug spray. There is a nice dump station but it has no running water there. No alcohol is permitted in this park so be discreet. The playground was very nice. The bathrooms are fairly new and very nice. They have dish washing stations, baby changing stations and showers (handicap accessible). The showers are free with plenty of hot water but there were no hooks or benches to put your stuff on. I unhooked the shower curtain hangers and hung stuff on those. No store in the park but firewood was available. No laundry machines here. No cable or wifi but cell is great. Trail maps are not accurate so use caution and bring water.
