Full Time Traveler, 2, Two Week Stays
I am traveling full time and retired. I have stayed here twice and find this park to be special. Owned by a wonderful husband and wife, the atmosphere is very relaxed and private. The views of the Chesapeake bay are unparalleled and the transient sites are roomy, with spectacular views and a very nice clientele. These guys have been responsibly busy during Covid crisis as of fall 2020. Lots of nice green grass but be aware of a lack of sewer outside of their several convenient dump sites. Being this close to the Chesapeake bay, they need to respect mandated management of waste. Expect corn fields all around and an abundance of wildlife. A beautiful state park just down the road at Eastern Neck State Park is great for hiking and boating. The historic town of Rock Hall is the nearest town only 10 minutes away, for supplies but also restaurants on the water and wonderful shops in town. Lots of history in this area from Revolutionary war to war of 1812. Highly recommend. Dogs welcome.

Comfortable And Well Maintained
Really nicely landscaped campground with the smell of roses everywhere. The staff were super nice and accommodating. We stayed for 10 days but they couldn’t accommodate us in a site for the entire time. We were allowed to park in a nice field for a few days then back to our site (G7). Note, they still charged us the full rate for dry camping in their field. The bathhouse is older and does not have a bench in the changing area; just two hooks. No sewer but they have a dump service that comes around weekly ($25-$35). Cell service was pretty consistent and WiFi is ok but not included ($20 for the week). Quiet area and about 6-7 miles to Rock Hall (a few shops, groceries, laundromat, restaurants). Nature preserves all around. About 20 minutes to Chestertown that is bigger with more activities, if you want it. Would stay again.

Great Park, Great People.
We stayed at Bayshore for an entire month and never met nicer people in my life than the staff and residents living here. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. I am handicapped and my husband had surgery they went well beyond what any customer would expect to make us comfortable and extend their hospitality. The sunsets are unbelieveable and it is just a great place to stay. Close to a public beach, close to a free pool and fun restaurants. What more can you ask for. Small town people and small town fun.

Will Stay Again
Nice sunsets. Very well kept grounds. Sites average size. Clean restrooms, but be prepared, no seat in shower changing area. Friendly staff. Must buy their wood. Rock Hall is nice town.
