⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our favorite overnight stop Atlanta to Austin. $30 is beyond reasonable. If I owned this park I would charge a lot more. Full hookups, many lake front lots to choose from, wildlife everywhere, surreal beauty, primarily back in sites, most sites are concrete pads, with paved roads, big rig friendly, hiking trails abound, trash receptacles are convenient, simply put, this place is great as it is cheap, and just a nice clean well designed RV park

Pleasantly surprised.
This county Park is nestled in a pretty wooded area yet conveniently located off I-20. Staff is superb-friendly and very helpful. Campsites next to lake are close together but are clean and newly paved with full hookups. Wish we had time to explore the many trails but only stayed for an overnight. Bathroom is older but clean. Would definitely stay again.

Just Plain Nice
We've stayed here twice and will continue to do so in the future as it is a great overnight (or longer) midway point btwn Atlanta and Austin. Not a fan of first come first serve however,as luck would have it, we were fortunate enough to be able to stay in the same lakefront spot both times. I can't speak to the restrooms or the other amenities, but I can rave about the outstanding water front sites that are concrete and very tastefully layed out. There are miles of trail's and bike paths and the entrance has a security gate. You won't be disappointed. Again, not a fan of 1st come 1st serve. This time, we parked in our spot and after we were all setup, some drove and said he had reserved the spot by placing his tag in the box. Hmm, what box? Needless to say, my 5th wheel was in the spot first - should I have moved? Nope! I also noticed locals had parked cars in open spots earlier in the day that showed up hours later with their RV. Happy trails.

Return trip. What a great park...nothing negative about this spot. Visiting family in West Monroe area. Nothing within 100 miles compares. Will be back !

Beautiful Place
We were coming home from Texas the end of March 2020 and found this place. Absolutely amazing. Quite, most sites facing the water. Amazing!! Will definitely be back.

We found this place 2 years ago.We were on our way to North Carolina. It was fantastic. We came back to Texas last year for winter vacation, we headed towards Lincoln Park Parish. We got there and no spots available, we were so upset, but we hadn't phoned ahead I made sure we called this year. We can't wait to be at this beautiful place again.

Our best RV park stay in 5 months
We travel full-time and have stayed at over 50 RV parks. This was one of the best places we've ever camped. Beautiful lake, the woods and trails are well maintained, the sites are recently updated, and it's a great price. Paid $25 for a single night stay. No discount memberships accepted. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). Our neighbor said the internet was good but we never used it. Had no problems fitting our 42ft 5th wheel and full-size pickup on the site. We stayed in spot 23. It was a back-in level site with a giant cement pad surrounded by a railing on the back and sides. Beautiful view of the lake out our back window in the morning. We really wish we weren't on a time crunch just passing through the area or we would have stayed an extra few days and explored the trails and the park. There's a nice path around the lake. We heard coyotes the night we arrived and saw plenty of birds on the lake. Large garbage cans are located on the street every 100 feet or so.

Make A Point To Stop Everytime On Our Wa
We pass thru a couple times a year on I20. We make a point to spend a week each time. We've never been disappointed with the cleanliness or the facilities

Hidden Gem
This is a really great campground, many sites are fully paved. Also great mountain bike trails with a beginner and an advanced trail in park winding among the pine trees.

None Better
We have camped all over Arkansas and Louisiana. This is 8 miles from our home and we like to consider it our “home park”. Most all sites have been redone. Most all lakeside lots also have ornamental iron fencing. Well worth the money!!!

Perfect Find
Traveling through to Mew Mexico and needed a spot for overnight. Wish we had made this a destination and spent a few days. Hidden gem. Walking trails, waterfall, beach area, paved mile long circular walking path around lake. Very peaceful. Bonus....... all the sites except about 5 have been redone —— level and concrete pad, very spacious!

Awesome!
What an absolutely beautiful place!! We are not seasoned RVer’s, but I can’t imagine anyone complaining about this campground. Now, if you HAVE to have all the WiFi and lots to do in town kind of thing, you might be unhappy- but if you want a beautiful quiet park with great sites, you’re going to love it. We will come again!!

Great Hidden Spot
We wanted a quiet stop on our cross country trip. Only 3 miles from I 20, but a world away from the ordinary! Cannot say enough good things about this little lake campground. It was mid week and we were about the only ones there. Peaceful, big spots, level ground. The park rangers were knowledgeble and helpful. We will come back and stay longer.

Awesome
Best hot water and water pressure I have ever had at a campground. Nice paved spots with tables, electric and water. Nice shade trees with lake view. Mountain bike trails and in a really nice and safe neighborhood.

Beautiful park enjoyed the short time there. Nice campers beside us. Some sites hard to back in to with fifth wheel. But they are improving. Will plan to stay again when traveling there

Great place for a weekend getaway! Lots of trails and great playground will keep the kiddos entertained. RV sites are fairly level with full 30 or 50 amp hookups. Very high water pressure. Lake is VERY low. Beach is closed, swimming not advised.

Beautiful Park
After sleeping in RV parks beside the interstate for a week, I was looking for a quiet spot and found this park. It was a Wednesday and we had absolutely no one camping close by. Beautiful lake with a trail around to walk the dog. Campfire rings, lots of trees and quiet! My dog and I explored the woods and had a great time. Bathhouse was clean. I saw a great playground and a beach there as well. Close to town and MANY excellent restaurants in the area. We ate sushi at RAW. Wonderful! Also, laundromat now too far away.

Very happy I finally stopped off here to stay. It's a great stopping point from or to Atlanta. Mountain bike trails - jumps and banked turns. Lake/fishing as well.
