Nice Stay But
Very nice park right on the water. Staff very friendly. Escorted to our site. Bathrooms very dirty. Some so bad they closed them. Restaurant on site is average. About a $25 cab ride to the French Quarter. No shuttle due to COVID. WiFi was terrible and they charged us extra for it.

Wonderful Place
We originally pulled into a different RV park that was so dangerous looking it was absolutely terrifying. So we did not stay. THEN we found Pontchartrain Landing. Omg. May I first mentioned that. It is clean. The people are wonderful. The store is beautifully stocked. The pool and a hot tub are clean. And they showed us a fabulous documentary on hurricane Katrina. This place was absolutely perfect.

Loved It!!
The county road in is the worst road I’ve ever been on!! We had an amazing time! $41 with Passport America. We are going back in January.

Nice Place For New Orleans
Nice place with decent size level pull through spots. Nice welcome center with pool, well stocked store, restaurant and more. Easy to get an Uber to French quarter And they had a shuttle that ran twice a day. I would definitely stay again. Stayed half price with Passport America.

Absolutely loved this place! Shuttle service to Bourbon Street with friendly driver and in fact all the staff were extremely helpful. We stayed here on a Saturday night after staying the night before at a RV park in the French Quarter...the other was closer and extremely convenient, but I enjoyed the good people and friendliness surrounding Pontchartrain. Will definitely stay here again.

Great park!
We stayed for Thanksgiving 2019. We arrived after the office closed and they had a nice guy in a golf cart who guided us to our spot, number 12. It was waterfront, but designed for a Class C to nose in. We have a 5th wheel toy hauler, 39 feet. Fit well, just had to feed our cords and hoses over to the door side (and trip over them). Be careful about those waterfront sites if you are in a trailer. You’ll need longer sewer hoses and power cords.
Restaurant was delicious. They had a band We really enjoyed. Waitstaff super friendly! The pool and hot tub are well maintained.
Our only complaint is the dust. It is fully gravel, so our golf cart and vehicles are covered in dust. The road coming in has been repaved, but some of the ones coming in are bumpy. All the roads in Louisiana are rough!
We didn’t notice any train sounds or noise at all. It was quiet when we were there. Very nice park and felt very safe! We will reruns if we come back to NOLA.

First Mate.
Stayed 3 nights, friendly staff, nice level site right on the water, #7. Close to city. Oh bye the way, road leading to park is being repaved as I type. Catch the band (chapel heart) on Sunday night at the bar on site, loads of fun!!

This Place Is Awesome
We stayed here 2 yers ago and loved it. Yes, the road back is rough, but that just makes it super safe. This time our RV had transmission issues, so we stayed over a week. The restaurant is great, priced reasonably. The marina fun to watch. The staff, including Sean and Brittany could not be kinder. Nice pool, beautiful views and Sunsets over Lake Pontchartrain. In short, this is the perfect spot for anyone looking to visit the Big Easy.

Friendly Staff
We enjoyed our stay here even though it was cut short due to the flooding and impending hurricane. Yes the road in was bumpy but it’s getting redone. We had an excellent meal at the restaurant. The shuttle was great to get into the French Quarter. We Ubered back for $20. Staff was friendly and very helpful especially in finding the one I flooded road that was passable out of the city in a 5th wheel.

A real disappointment. looked at the pictures and read reviews. I thought this would be a nice place to spend an anniversary "WRONG" When the rservations were made a year in advance I had requested a Premium water front lot and told them we were oversized and needed the room. We were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome, Than the lady wanted to apologize for the road conditions coming in and the park as they were still making repairs from the hurricane. That was 10 years ago. We were cautioned about adventuring out at night because of the neighborhood.Than the lot we were given would not even handle our slide outs is was so tight and forget ever putting an awning out. They have a restaurant on site for convience but its pricey for what you get. After one night of a booked week we pulled out for better accomodations. Will not return for any reason!

Great Place To Stay, In New Orleans
County maintained road to the park is rough! Outside of that, we had a wonderful stay for 5 days. Beautiful Oasis just outside of New Orleans. Shuttle service to the French Quarter was wonderful, the Restaurant/Bar was great we had no complaints. Only issue we encountered was their Wifi, very lacking in the campground are.

Christmas Stay
Very nice park! Showers and laundry are clean, they pick up garbage from your site, the trees around each site make it feel less like the typical parking lot.
The shuttle to FQ is a great deal. Kids 12 and under are free and $6 round trip. It is muddy/dusty...but I would stay again. Felt very safe. Dog run is nice!
Yes..the road is terrible! I went in and out around the WalMart and Universitt roads instead. Stayed in my 32 foot Class C for three nights.

Good For Overnight...
Nice enough folks and the grounds were well kept. Hookups were solid and restrooms were clean. Road in had rough spots but not impassable. WiFi was not functional and cell service spotty so tough to be a business traveler. Location is good for short trip to the city.

A great place to stay. Sites are fairly spacious and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Has it’s own bar and restaurant with great food. A shuttle that took you to and from town. Only down fall is the road to the site and the dusty roads at the campground. Will stay again.

Every time we go to NO we stay at Pontchartrain Landing. The only negatives are the dusty drives and sites and the restaurant. With all the great restaurants in NO why would anyone settle for average food?

We have been here since 4/25, leaving tomorrow. Facilities were found neat and clean, staff friendly and helpful. Shuttles and Uber make getting to and from the city very easy. We came to attend Jazzfest and will likely return next year. It would be nice if and when the park roads are paved to keep dust to a minimum but, with few exceptions people were courteous in keeping speeds low. The park, although located in a depressed area of Nola was quite secure.
A rose among the thorns.

5 Night Stay
Dusty gravel & dirt roads that flooded when it rained. The restaurant was awful!!! We tried it twice, thinking it would be better the second time...but no.
All the park staff was nice & the shuttle to town was the best. The only time you could connect to the WiFi was at the store, restaurant or pool. WiFi is Nonexistent at your campsite.

Nice
Good restaurant in park. Laundry need some updates. Trash pick up service is really awesome. Just leave your trash in front of your rv. Last service is 5pm.
The price seems little high but $6/person round trip shuttle service to Frech Quarter can make-up your cost of parking fee ($20~$35) or uber/lyft ($17@1pm / $19@5pm). For my stay, there was only three departure times and two pickup times. I paid $140 for two nights include 10% discount and tax. If my visit wasn't for the French Quarter then I would probably think twice.
One more reason to knock off the star, the condition of public road to get to the park is really bad. Also, road condition inside park isn't that great. It's bit muddy that it can easily dirty your door steps and floor. Some dips with water didn't got dry out even after two none rainy days.

Great place to stay and enjoy New Orleans. Shuttle ride is well worth $6.00. The sites are close but who cares when you are in the city all day! Clean bath house and laundry. I'd go back there in a heartbeat!

Family Stay At Pontchartrain Landing
We enjoyed this rv park and felt with kids this would be a safe option and it was! The shuttle ride into The French Quarter was easy. Kids were free so we only had to pay for adults, $6 per adult. The video they show about Hurricane Katrina was great for the kids and it was free as well. Sunrise was beautiful! Great stay!

Awesome Park, Odd Surroundings
As you first pull in to the area you might think of a zombie apocalypse, kind of a run down industrial area. Keep driving, it gets better. The only real criticism I had was the roads and pads are gravel and dirt. It rained while we were there, so it was a little muddy.
Front door trash and propane service was awesome. The staff were all very warm and welcoming. It is about a 15$ and 15 minute Uber ride down town. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED park

Nice Location
We stayed for four days during Jazzfest. Great location, grocery close by. They had a special shuttle for Jazzfest and a regular shuttle to the French Quarter. We chose to Uber as the shuttle times were strange for dining in the city on a later schedule. So if you choose to Uber, let your driver know that you are at the RV park, give them a call and meet them by the main road! Many locals have no idea that the RV park is back in the industrial area and it can be deceiving and a little scary to young drivers. Quite a few of our drivers got lost picking us up. The park is very nice. Great pool! Only downer was the gravel roads that covered your vehicles in dust everyday!

Love it!! Note: when you get off the interstate and it tells you to turn left and it looks like it's a dead-end road just keep going it will get you to the RV park it is very confusing it's industrial down here but beautiful

Very Nice Park
Sites are wide & plants between sites gives you a sense of privacy. Great local close but far enough from French Qtr. I would give 5stars but feel the dusty roadways are a negative. if they had paved roads than 5 stars

What a great oasis here in New Orleans. The foliage is beautiful and the sites ample size. Nice pool and hot tub .There is a spot for any size RV. Shuttle down to the quarter. The restaurant is better than ever. Hellacious ride to get here, but worth it!
We will be back. They are members of Good Sam's. We camp in a 38' Motorhome with tow.
