Showing It's Age and Lack of Care
Spent 5 nites during Thanksgiving week. Park was about 1/3 occupied. Road inside the park are dismal at best. Severe lack of maintenance to even attempt to fill potholes. Sites are spacious and most pads are not level. Staff very friendly. I will return after roads are repaired.

Very Adequate
We pulled in at sunset and found many nice sites that seemed ideal. Bathhouse very clean & warm with nice sinks and showers. It's the week before Christmas so hardly anyone here, but just a great little spot of the interstate for a quick stop while traveling.

Quiet With Nice Breeze
Wife and I are staying here 4 nites. Sites are not level but they are workable. Have had worse. Bath house was clean though the faucets and other hardware were corroding somewhat. We got lucky with the weather, highs are in low 90s and quite breezy. Have not noticed any of the state birds yet (mosquitos)...maybe too dry right now. Camp host is very pleasant. Herds of deer roam the park. Each site is quite spacious. Park could use some weed cutting. We will definately be back. Low cost is for senior discount.

Allot Of Sites, Many Not Level
A quiet, out of the way park in hilly terrain. Many sites are not level, however the camp host are accommodating to change to another site. The lake isn't really a lake, but a reservoir filled with Cyprus.

week long visit
Hubby and I stayed at Lake Bistineau in April. we had reserved a pull thru site thinking that our set up would be uneventful. NO
site was very unlevel but the worst - huge pot holes and the asphalt crumbling. If not for two kind neighbors giving assistance and some concrete blocks, we would not have been able to get situated.
A plus for clean bath house with great hot water!
A wonderful steak and seafood restaurant close by. Check out Wilson's

Beautiful Park
This is just about picture perfect - quiet, nice level lots laid out just right, friendly staff, and clean restrooms. The only reason why I have it 4 stars and not 5 is bc the showers were a little dated and in need of a deep cleaning - the toilets were clean. Small family in a 35’ RV.

Beautiful & Peaceful
I loved this park. The mossy cypress trees are so beautiful. There weren't many campers there so it was very quiet and peaceful.
The property is nicely maintained with very clean showers & restrooms.
The park ranger Frank was super friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back.
