Super Nice
Very friendly and accomodating staff. Park is very clean except for small sticks that were blown down in recent storm. The pull thru sites are UNBELIEVEABLE. You can easily park 2 35 footers and not be crowded. New pickic tables on concrete pads along with grill and fire pit. Each site is about 10 yards or so apart. Backin sites are much closer together but still not too bad. Our camper came with shower and toilet so I don't use park's facilities. Looks as though all pads are new asphalt and they are dead level. Not our first stay and will not be the last. Price above is with old people's card.

Great Stay
We stay at this park all the time to fish in the piers. Our family has a rented slip at the marina. We love the people that run the park. Very friendly and helpful. They do honor the senior citizen discount. We pay only $15 per night for a full hook up spot. Always love spot #8. They have a big bathhouse and a splash pad playground for the kids. Fun Time!!

Excellent State Park Campground
Stayed there only one night. Very good place, clean and quiet. Strong enough wi-fi to stream TV. Would stay again.

Nice place
We spent two nights here in late Dec, 2021 in a 30’ Class C motorhome. Quite enough. Bathhouses very clean, wi-fi very good. Asphalt sites, all backin but very spacious. Nice walking trails. Interesting area. We were there to see Poverty Point Monument and other lesser known mounds. Like all state parks we have stayed at this one was very well planned and maintained. Kudos to the state of LA and the people who work here.

Very Nice State Park
Overnight stop. Late arrival but had an escort from a park policeman that really helped. The pull thru spots are long and paved. Very level. Walked a nature trail. Only three miles off the interstate but a world away.

Very Nice Park
Stayed 4 nites. Park was very clean. Grass somewhat high but was being mowed. Fire ants everywhere but were being treated. Wind was high which prevented using the lake. Camp Hosts were very pleasant and attentive to any needs. I thought spacing was great. Sites very level side to side.

Perfect Spot
I agree with the other posts - quiet, level sites, walking trails. The laundry area is a nice plus - very clean, 2 washers and 2 dryers priced at $1.75 per load. The bathhouse is kept clean. The FHU sites are fairly close together with very little shade . We preferred the water/electric sites with much more shade a wonderful privacy. These sites backed to a wooded area. The swim area/marina is not at the campground but a drive around to the other side of the lake.

Very Nice State Park
One of the few state parks with full hook ups. Sites are spacious, a few have shade; small little water feature with slides for children; very quiet and peaceful; fishing off the bank is fairly good; staff is friendly; picnic table and fire pit at each site.

Beautiful park!! Only stayed one night passing through. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Very clean and well maintained. Nice, roomy, level sites. Spotless restrooms.

Good Park
The park is really nice, and staff are friendly and helpful. The only complaint is that the sewer dump station is in bad need of repair. You get soaking wet trying to wash out. Also, they need more toliet in men's bathroom!
