Nice And Private Site

Nice big park. Private sites. Armodillos everywhere! Nice shower and bath houses, free laundry.

Beautiful

Really picturesque. We visited in early December and only about 10 of 100 sites in use. Well spaced with plenty of privacy. Free laundry, great showers, friendly staff. We will be back.

The sites are spacious and shady. There are palmetto ferns and trees between each spot, giving privacy to each site. The bike trails are nice and the kids love the splash pad.

Palms Down - A Great Park

The roads are great. The crushed gravel sites are level and spacious. Picnic tables are up on cement pads. The shower/ laundry facilities are clean and attractive. It was quiet. We heard owls a few times. This is what I love about state parks and it ticked all my prerequisites. There’s a nice sized kid’s splash pad for summer fun. I recommend this park.

We brought our grandson and enjoyed riding our bikes, watching the wild hogs, the splash pad was amazing, we canoed and finished and had a blast! Grounds were clean showers were clean and free laundry !
