One of the best kept state parks we've been to. All the sites are well laid out and level. Everything is clean and in good shspe. All RV sites have 50 amp and sewer. Small campground with only 32 RV sites and 11 tent sites.

Really nice place! Super clean and well kept. Nice play ground and the lake boat ramp is just right there. Really like this camp ground not to many spots so can be hard to get into.

Very Nice SP
Nov 2, 2018 with taxes/fees (dang $6 ReserveAmerica fee), $38/night. Popular place for weekend warriors. Nice, large pea-gravel sites. Playgrounds for kids. RV sites have sewer. In summer going to need reservation to find a spot. Clean & scenic. Marina there, bring a boat. Might be only park in area open year round. Must pay for WiFi but I got 3 bars on my 4G. No local TV signals at all, zero, but had open view of SW sky for my Dish.

Sweet Place
We were here to do family research and this was the only campground around... so wasn't expecting much... however, the restrooms were scrubbed down every night, the showers were hot, there's even a laundry... also an easy walk to the lake for fishing... great mexican food at Mi Hacienda in Paintsville...
