Reservations

Be advised this campground is for reservations. The recreation.gov website used to make their reservations and check availability does not reflect accurate information- there were numerous FCFS sites listed as available on the dates we planned to camp so we made our way to the grounds only to be told they were in fact reserved and that they had had numerous problems since they had to use the Recreation.gov site- with people seeing the FCFS sites only to be told they were NOT AVAILABLE- would have been a large problem if traveling far to get there- call ahead and see if anything is available, do not trust the site for availability before traveling.

Truck Camper

Came in without a reservation on Saturday late afternoon. Plenty of sites available. It was 40s and rainy. Camp host at site 4A was super nice. Great view of the water from our site. We had a premium site with water and electricity. Wood was 6 a bundle. Very small bundles. If you want a fire you may want to get wood on the way into campground. Bathrooms and bathhouse are way outdated but clean. shower was hot.

Very Nice Campground

Very nice Campground. Enjoyed our stay. Water and electric at many sites but not all. Sites are not on top of each other. Very nice and peaceful. We had a great view of the water at our site. Not all sites can be reserved. We will be back. Loved it.
