Nice
Some are large paved sites, but only 30amp some long ways from camper. Most sites pretty level. Can be noisy from Trains and barge locks traffic.

Maybe If You Have Young Children
HUGE campground laid out in a grid system of narrow roads with very short parking pads making it difficult to back in a camper. It was deserted this week with just 6 campers spread out over the 200 campsites so lack of privacy was not an issue. But if this place were full I can't imagine any relaxing at all. Bathhouse was in good shape though dated. Clean enough except for tiny frogs clinging to the screen door and several on the floor. I could imagine it to be a loud fun place for kids during the summer season. We would only go there again off season and just for an overnight while traveling. Some mature trees, lots of grass, 3 bathhouses, 2 small playgrounds. Of course the lake is the attraction in this area. I was sorry not to find a view I could walk to. A Place Not To Be Missed
On our way home after eight weeks of cruising the USA we found this gem on the Allstays website. So quiet, and immersed in nature, for $20 I high recommend this place for any type of visit. Impressive. Bought the wood and ice ...and t-shirts on special.
