Spent 4 days here social-distance camping right on Melvern Lake with our travel trailer. This is a beautiful park with many large trees, level gravel pads, shady streets, and many full hook up sites as well as partial, tent, and primitive camping. Sites are large, with grass between each and a fire ring at each site. There is a camp store, but it was closed the entire time we were here. The showers/bathrooms were open and very clean. This park also has an 18 hole disc golf course and an archery course, walking trails and horse trails. There is also a swimming beach and two boat ramps. Every part of this large park was clean and well-kept. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our 1st time camping in a state park. I can’t say enough good things about it. Washrooms were squeaky clean and well lighted. Camp site was awesome with lots of space. Only draw back was getting to the site. Signage could be better.

Spacious
Great if you can get a space. Good spots fill up during the season, but even the bad spots are good spots.
