We stopped here as an overnight on our way home. What a great park! Lots of trees. No showers that I could see but flushable pit toilets - staff could do a better job of cleaning IMO. Very quiet and scenic. Lots of trails to hike. Close enough to shops if you need anything. We took our dogs to the Pints & Paws Dog Park and it was worth the $21 for both dogs - take the time to check that out if you can (I included a couple of pics). I also uploaded what I hope is a more legible camp map of the 16 sites. Would stay here again.
Nice park big trees neat river in park. Would be good fishing flooding has made bank fishing bad current also made boating difficult. Concrete pads and full hook up Camp host was very nice and informative and kind.
Down side $42.

Best Little State Park
We love this park. Nice grass, fairly level cement pad and patio, paved roads, full 50amp hookups. Satellite will be tough with all the trees and you need your own wifi. Space between sites is awesome. Tucked in the trees yet easy to back into. We are a 45ft 5th wheel now with a 21ft truck. We fill the site with maybe 2ft to spare. We are in site 3.
Large concrete sites & paved roads. Our 40 ft RV fit with the car parked in front. Quiet and close to Des Moines sites.

Lil Gem
This is a great RV park, super close to everything. Sites are cement pads, level and clean and roads are paved. The grass is mowed to keep the bugs down as much as can be expected, it is a woods. Sites are also large so you are not packed in with your neighbors. Would love to bring the kayaks next time and use the river right behind the park.
Max length is much more than 21 ft. Our rig is 37ft and there was still plenty of room. I beleive you could easily fit a 45 ft rig in some of these sites.

Great Place
Small, clean & quiet campground. Approx. 20 sites, half with full hook-up about 5 miles off highway 80. Can't beat the price for full hook-up.
