One Of The Nicest
We're so impressed. It's a beautiful campground with plenty of sites. We are here in mid-August so there are very few people here. Nice, clean restrooms and showers. The staff at the gate were superb. There are ample shaded and sunny sites. This is now one of our favorites. Little town of Versailles is pretty and quiet. Happy camping!!

Very Nice
Large sites, huge park with lots of trails, boat rental, and pool. Campground playgrounds could be bigger, but they are adequate. Be aware that many of the campsites, especially along the outside of the loop in campground "A" are pretty far out of level. The site we reserved was listed as slight grade, but was a couple of feet out from front to back. But the girl at the entrance was very nice and found us one that was doable.

Great Indiana State Park! Lots of good hiking. Easy to get to. Twisty narrow tree filled roads in the campground. We’re 36 foot and made it through okay. We were at site 83, on an end of a turn around circle. Site 83 is large but sits in a hole. Half of our mat went up a small hill. The small hill ran along the length of our trailer and beyond. Nice large flat area behind the site would be great for tents. Sitting in the hole you could barely see any neighbors or down the road. Which was ok with us. Top of hill area is nice. The hill was a little steep and the kids had problems, especially if they were running towards the camper. Lots of falls. Getting out of site 83 was difficult with 36 footer. Very very close to trees on tight circle. Not sure a camper longer than 37 could get out. Was easy getting in, getting out different story. Raccoons visited every night. Good spot for star gazing and saw the international space station fly over. Overall had great time!

Loop B
Stayed in loop A last year and it was crowded booked loop B this year and that is where I will book in the future. Room for playing games. Whole park is very kid friendly. Both loops have cell service

Clean park. The camp store is virtually bare and the sites only allow 1 vehicle. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Do some research regarding whether or not you prefer shade or a level place to park your rv. Overall not a bad campground

Great State Park
One of our personal all time favorite parks. Two campground areas within the park. One has small traditional sized sites easy for pop up campers small trailers and tents for sure. The other section is more modern large flat spaces, some even pull through spots. Has a great pool with fun slide and area for wee kids to splash. The lake is shallow and only allows small boats shallow draft no high powered. Very clean well managed park with camp store. Lots of woods to walk and ride bikes through. No regrets here.

1st Time Camping.
First time out with new travel trailer. We found the shower house was clean. The park was clean too . The dump station was easy to use. Some camper sites was not level. We stayed at camp site 95 on loop A, it was a nice site. We will be back.

One of Indiana's great State Parks. Very nice camping for all types of rigs including tent camping. Clean bath houses. Great hiking, a lake for fishing, canoeing, kayaking and large pool facility with water slide. Not convenient to shopping or restaurants; they do have a small camp store.

The Best State Park
We come here several times a year. It's absolutely beautiful and well cared for. It was a shame that the old loop lost so many tress but it's still shady if you know what spots to get. Pool is fantastic and is very clean. We tried some of the other sections and still had a great experience.

Beautiful State Park
Versailles is Indiana's second largest state park. There is a nice lake good for kayaks, canoes, and fishing. There is a large pool. This park has both hiking trails and extensive mountain bike trails. The campground is in a wooded setting. The entire park is clean, beautiful, and well maintained. I highly recommend Versailles State Park to everyone!
