Great Park
Puts any Illinois state park to shame!!!! Pony, horseback and hay rack rides available . Nature center has live animals and interactive displays. We sat in on a creature feature and learned about snakes.(got to touch em) wolf cave is awesome to walk/crawl thru. Tennis ,basketball and swimming pool. Well maintained and marked trails to see creek , waterfalls ,old farm and old quarry. Bathroom / showers very clean with plenty of hot water. Spots are very small , couple that we saw were extremely sloped but most were flat/ Do your homework if possible. Restaurant has good food. Bring a flashlight to go thru Wolf cave. Shoes that can get wet will save yah the hassle of walking rock to rock to get to the waterfall but you can keep your shoes 100% dry if you have a little ninja in you. Great park will return!!!!!

Beautiful Park, Close Camping
There are some really great and well maintained hiking trails here! We had a blast playing in the creek! The park is really beautiful, but the campsites are CLOSE! Our site was tiny, on a major incline, and was not well maintained. Our fire pit was surrounded by knee high weeds. We honestly couldn't even sit around it. There is also only 1 bathroom for each loop. If you do not have a toilet in your camper, be very aware of that! The toilets and showers were always very clean, though! We will definitely go again, but will be more selective of which site we use!

Great park
We really enjoy this park. $30 a night plus the Day Pass. Park is very well maintained. Lots of hiking and a waterfall to wade in. Shaded spots some close but others are pretty large. Horseback riding also available.
