Good Cross Country Stop

Traveling cross country with a tent and this was a great stop. Was $30 to stay the night. We were in and out but it was very quiet, picnic table site with no neighbors to either side (Tuesday), we had a tree, nice grass site, it also had nice clean flush bathrooms. They had wood and ice for sale. They had a pool (we did not use) cleaners were up early getting it ready. Nice dirt roads to walk around. We used a tent but there were RVs there also with water hook ups. Playgrounds, simple mini golf, and simple basketball court for kids. We saw deer, bunnies, geese, squirrels and chipmunks. We recommend this stop :)

Nice Place

Glad we stopped here. People were friendly. Campground was well kept. Reasonably priced. Offered good Sam discount. July 2019: $22.50. Convenient to get to, yet off highway enough not to hear road noise. Would definitely stay there again. Oh yeah, they have a pool too.

Beautiful Friendly Place

The staff at this campground go out of their way to make you feel at home. Instead of you going to the office to register they come to you once you have set up. They have movies at night on an outdoor screen and it is nestled in between fields of corn and soybeans. The price is great if you are a good Sam or passport America member.

Awesome For The Price

We are Passport America members, it is only $12.50/night for the first 2 nights! $30 without any memberships. Most of the park are permanent residence but the area coming into the park are for temporary stays. Great grassy spots, some trees, heated outside pool, putt putt golf, easy in and out. Bath houses are outdated but functional, husband says took a while to get hot water, but it got too hot for me. Host was friendly, gravel roads, library, no laundry facilities on site.
