Nice for Picnic and Bike Rides
The Jackson-Washington State Forest offers primitive camping sites, a few small lakes, and trails. The camping is first come first serve, no reservations in advance, and appears to be unsupervised. There are some nice pavilions for gatherings and plenty of picnic tables. There are some winding paved roads that are fun to bike on. The trails, however, are not well maintained or marked. Logging goes on in the forest and leaves everything looking like a wreck. I cannot recommend the trails, but for a picnic or bike ride this location would be great.
