As you’d expect from a campground with a few hundred sites, sites are fairly close together and lack privacy. Fortunately we were here on a fairly quiet Friday, so many spots were empty when we checked in. The staff member on the gate was very nice and when we said we valued quiet and shade she gave us G10, which has a nice big tree for shade (the two times we camped in IN on this trip we’ve been allocated sites). Most sites are wide open with very little shade. Bathrooms are adequate, flush toilets, fairly clean if a little old/tired. Campground is expensive at $32 for a night for an electric site. Water is a longish walk away by the restrooms.

Need Some Shade.
Nice lake and campground is nice as long as you scout it first. Most of the trees in the back loops are dead so shade is non existent. The full hookup section is very nice but in the summer it's hard to get a spot. Beach is very nice and it's close to Morgans canoe rental and that's a blast. We will be back in 2017.
