Blackwell Facilities Update

The only hookup at your site is electric. There is a location where you can fill your water tank. There are water pumps scattered around, but you cannot affix a standard water hose to them. There is a dump station near the entrance. There are no sewers on site. There is a bath house with showers and toilets. The sites and campground road are gravel. There is a decent separation for most but not all sites. There is a way to view sites online and make reservations. The campground gate closes 1 hr after sunset. The 2023 rate for DuPage County residents is $20/ night. Others pay $30/night. Normal hours are campground opens at 1:00 PM on Friday and closes at noon on Sunday. The DuPage Forest Preserve District keeps things well maintained.
