I worked in the main room during the day. It was warm, had lighting options, and the wifi was sufficient. The staff made my stay over the top fantastic. They gave me tips like letting me know about the difference in gas prices in Cook County VS an adjacent county. Their expert insider knowledge was invaluable. Genuinely good hearted people. The other guests were also very friendly.
The RV sites are comfortable. If you book tent camping, plan to sleep in your tent. You'll have to walk a small distance to your campsite.
There are nearby trails paved trails for getting some movement in. There is a ton of shopping nearby if you need to go to the store. You can Uber to the train for less than $10 in each direction & spend the day in Chicago.
I really liked this place and could see myself booking out the entire campground and facilities for a special occasion.

Great location near downtown. Only 5 rv/trailer spots. Great trails to walk or ride. Has sewer and electric. Water has to be put in the fresh tank and refilled as needed. The hose that does this is about 100 to 200 yards away depending on the location of the camper. It worked out fine. The bathroom was clean, but the shower curtain was moldy and hair was on the shower walls. Trash was not collected and over flowing. The sites needed to be mowed which would have cut down on the mosquitos considerably. The front office area was maintained but not the sites.
