Train Noise, but Nice
Nice scenic(river view) very affordable park across from hiking and biking trails. Train noise at night, but earplugs should help. Friendly people. Nice park for the kids. Bike trail along the river. Stores a mile down the road. This an update from my previous salty review- the morning after a difficult sleep of train noise.

Noise
Loud and scary trains less than 30 feet from campground. Highway same, but more quiet at night. I can feel big trucks and trains vibrate camper. I felt unsafe by the tracks and main road. Closer to river would be better but still loud as trains can be heard from other side of river too. Some hiking/biking across road but the same can be experienced at most quiet state parks. Bathrooms are locked up too. Need key. Apparently a long trail follows the river of which intersects through the campground. So bathrooms are just for the campers. But the campground is ok looking with close together spots.

Note: App shows this campground in the same place as Fisherman's Corner, but it is not. It is actually a quarter mile or so South West... thanks!

Great park, and very nice courtious staff. The wife and I live close by but stay there often for the beautiful and comfortable get away. Always clean and well maintained. Would give 6 stars if I could.

My husband got a senior discount. 50amp and water.. They so have a sewer dump. On the Mississippi river. Free wifi (public). Would have given 5 stars if there were pull thrus and sewers. Real nice find. Will come back. Get here early on the weekend's they fill up quick and they don't take reservations. Camped in a 5th wheel.

Pretty But Noisy
The park is pretty, clean and well maintained but it's close to railroad tracks. Very loud about 4 am.
