Wonderful Little Gem

I’ve already booked a trip back! Sites are very clean and pretty private. The owner and host (Jeff) is very accommodating and helpful. The facilities were all immaculate and the grounds are gorgeous!

Quaint and Quiet

We spent a weekend with friends at Vel Terra and enjoyed every second of it. It’s a small campground but sites are a nice size, the bathrooms are super clean, and there is much to do in the area. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, I would highly recommend Vel Terra.

Quiet, grassy campground with pretty good shade. Off the beaten path...narrow gravel road for entry but easily manageable. We have a 35 ft 5th wheel...no problems. Nicely maintained with a wonderful host. Small campground but big sites. Water and electric only.

Has flooded, difficult to get in and out, call first, not for bigger rigs.

Rustic And Low Key

Not for travel trailers over 30 ft. Call ahead about available sites. Clean washrooms and showers, paved sites, friendly and helpful owner. Drive to Galena in a half hour. Woodbine golf course five minutes away. Driveway and county road in and out is steep gravel single lane with a bypass lane but doable.
